Women’s Leadership Program
For Women Who Have Overcome Adversity
We help women build self-confidence, self-esteem and their leadership potential with an enriching empowerment and leadership program. Designed for women overcoming serious adversities including domestic violence, homelessness, and addiction, we provide a powerful professional development experience that helps women transform and create the lives they were meant to have.
Our innovative program is a combination of coaching and training and is taught by women experts who nurture and support women to wholeness and strength. The first 10 weeks of the program is called the Intensive. We hold weekly classroom sessions and become a supportive team of women working together to bring out the best in each other.

How You Can Participate in the Women's Leadership Institute
Women may be nominated by one of our partner agencies to attend the Women's Leadership Institute on a scholarship (if available). Women are usually nominated by a program manager, case manager, or therapist. Nominated women will go through an interview and selection process to determine if they will be invited to participate.

The Women’s Leadership Experience is a powerful 10-week program that combines personal success coaching and professional development training to help women set and achieve goals to lead more satisfying, meaningful and fulfilling lives.
Are you ready to be challenged, supported and celebrated as you break through your own barriers to success?
Is the Women’s Leadership Experience for you?
Our ten-week intensive consists of weekly classroom meetings and your very own personal success coach.
You will improve your skills and abilities in:
- Public speaking to be more comfortable, confident, and powerful in your
career, social settings, and life - Setting and achieving goals for your personal and professional success
- Assertive communication; How to say “no” and ask for what you want and need without being aggressive or passive
- Positive acknowledgement and self-acceptance of the great person you truly are
- Taking care of yourself emotionally, spiritually and physically
- Creating your own personal image and style for confidence and success
- Sharing your passions and how you want to make a difference in the world
After the Program
You’ll become part of our Graduate Community and have opportunities to mentor other women via a quarterly community service outreach project to educate and empower women of all ages.
